Terms of sale

You pay once, you can use the app on your own Macs for as long as you like, and you get free updates for the version you bought. You have 30 days to change your mind.

Who we are

Beautiful Software is an Australian sole trader business based in your state, ABN 00 000 000 000. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Beautiful Software, and “you” means the person buying the app.

What you’re buying

When you buy an app, you get a personal licence to install and use it on Macs that you own or control. You can’t resell or share your licence key, or remove the app’s licence checks.

Before buying, check the system requirements on the app’s page. Our apps currently need a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 14 or later.

Price and payment

Prices are shown in Australian dollars. We aren’t registered for GST, so no GST is included in our prices. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Delivery

Straight after payment, you’ll see a download link and your licence key. We also email them to you. If they don’t arrive, email us and we’ll resend them.

Updates

Your purchase includes free updates for the major version you bought. For example, buying version 1 gets you every 1.x update. A future version 2 may be a paid upgrade, and your version 1 will keep working.

Open-source software inside our apps

Our apps are built on open-source projects, which are named on each app’s page and inside the app. Those projects are free and remain under their own licences, which are included with the app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences. We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by the people who make them.

Refunds

See our refund policy. In short, you can get a full refund within 30 days of buying, for any reason.

Our responsibility to you

Our apps come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits them. Beyond those guarantees, and as far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Please keep backups of your important files.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your state, Australia.
